February...YUCK!

So an update on our fam... In february we brought home that sweet baby.  That was, of course, the highlight.  Just a few days later Taylor started showing symptoms of RSV.  Within the next 10 days.. Everyone took their turn being sick.   And at Alda's 2 week well visit she was shipped out by ambulance to our 2nd home PCMC!   We stayed there for 5 days where she spent her 1st Valentines Day!   Our big kids spent the week with Granny Goon and the Pedersens.  Thank Heaven for the very best family and friends who just step right up to help and never complain!  And mad props go out to Uncle of the Year(again) Gordon!  He helped Bailey make her Valentines box at the last minute. (or should I say he let Bailey borrow his?)  We are so lucky and we count our blessings every day.

But as for February... Our Babies pics tell the story.  Taylor hates food and Alda hates PCMC!
And we are done with February!   I'm sure March will be better.  JK!

So here goes! I'm trying the blogging thing! I'm not real tech savvy so you'll all have to forgive me but I feel like enough people are anonymously involved in our lives anyways I might as well just let the world in.
We are a family of 5 humans and 1 pup. We have a mom and a dad, 2 girls and 1 sweet little boy. Oh and the dog Fritz.
This first post is all about the Christmas Season and the wonderful spirit that comes with it. Our lives are crazy- it seems there is some truth to the old saying- the only thing constant is change. We've almost made it our family motto. This year has been no different. Things just seem to get so crazy so fast. But here we are at the end of the year and its time to reflect on the things that make me happy.
I feel so lucky to have such a fantastic husband and the most amazing kids. We are so fortunate to live in the land of plenty. Even with our current economic crisis we are still spoiled, spoiled, spoiled. We have family everywhere we turn ready and willing to help us when we need. And neighbors and friends who love us and we love them. This is the time of year when I really realize how much I have and how grateful I am. What a blessing to be living a life I truly love! I can look in any directon and see people I love struggling with different challenges, and instead of being surrounded by miserable people. I am surrounded by some of the greatest examples of strength. And for that I am truly the luckiest girl in the world. So Thank you all! All of you people I love! Heres to the best Christmas ever- and the best New Year too!!
